Who are we?
Hemlock Highlands is a family owned business operated by John and Jean Bates.
John's love for Highland cattle came from his Welsh grandfather who remembered the breed from his boyhood, and collected Highland art. John, having grown up admiring the beautiful animals on canvas was destined to become a Highland breeder.
We raise our Highlands in Sedro-Woolley, Washington, a small town located in the foothills of the beautiful Cascade Mountain Range.
